Study in the New Zealand

Besides being a beautiful country, New Zealand is also the topmost choice for Indian students. It has ample research opportunities as well as internationally accredited qualifications. It has a very welcoming environment for international students and an excellent support system for them.

Universities there focus on holistic learning which means they teach students to deal with situations in a systemic and organized manner.

New Zealand’s education system reflects its unique and diverse society, which welcomes different abilities, religious beliefs, ethnic groups, income levels, and ideas about teaching and learning. They have processes in place to give their students consistent, high-quality education at all levels.

New Zealand education is also becoming increasingly international, influenced by wide employment markets and an increasingly mobile network of teaching staff, researchers, and a well-traveled population of students.

To apply for the visa, you will generally need:

  • Passport valid for three years
  • Letter of acceptance from a New Zealand education provider.
  • Written guarantee from a person or institution that suitable accommodation is available to you in New Zealand
  • Return an air ticket to your country or proof of funds showing you can buy one.
  • Education transcripts and diploma
  • Tuition fee receipt
  • Passport sized photographs

As an Indian student, you would most commonly require a Fee-Paying Student visa.

While studying in New Zealand, it’s important to maintain your Fee-Paying student status. This status relates to the purpose, or reason why you came to New Zealand.

You’ll have to apply for your student visa application online using the New Zealand Immigration website. You can apply up to 120 days before your intended date of the program’s start date.

To gain your New Zealand student visa, you’ll also have to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.

New Zealand offers a very supportive environment for its international students. The number of students per classroom is often smaller than in other western countries, allowing for more personalized attention.

New Zealand’s climate can vary from warm subtropical in the far north to cool temperate climates in the far south.
